  • 1. Key Historical Milestones
    • 16th November 1976: Bangalore Co-operative Milk Producers Societies Union Ltd. was established.
    • 23rd March 1987: BAMUL was formed after bifurcation of the union.
    • 1st September 1988: Bangalore Dairy was taken over by BAMUL.
    • 17th December 2000: Bangalore Mega Dairy started functioning.
    • MMPO-1992 Registration No: 42/R.MMPO/93
    • Bangalore Dairy ISO 22000-2005 & ISO 9001-2000 certified in 2006.
  • 2. Main Dairy Capacities
    • 60,000 LPD at establishment (23rd January 1965).
    • 1.5 lakh LPD expansion (1st February 1981).
    • 3.5 lakh LPD expansion (1994).
    • Milk condensing plant: 3 Metric Tons/day.
    • Spray drying plant: 5 Metric Tons/day.
    • 6 lakh LPD automated Mega Dairy (17th December 2000).
    • Converted old building into Product Block (2002).
  • 3. Chilling Center Capacities
    • Anekal: Started on 12th September 1964 with 20,000 LPD, expanded to 60,000 LPD (28th February 1999).
    • Byrapatna: Started on 19th May 1962 with 20,000 LPD, expanded to 60,000 LPD.
    • Doddaballapur: Started on 5th January 1967 with 20,000 LPD, expanded to 60,000 LPD.
    • Vijayapura: Established on 1st February 1995 with 1 lakh LPD capacity.
    • Solur: Established on 31st January 1999 with 60,000 LPD capacity.
    • Hoskote: Commissioned on 29th March 2000 with 1.5 lakh LPD capacity.
    • Kanakapura: Commissioned on 1st October 2004 with 60,000 LPD capacity.
